McDermott Will & Emery recently announced that it has welcomed Ron Hauben, former General Counsel of Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, as a partner and co-head of the accounting defense practice.

Ron Hauben is familiar with the accounting industry and the legal, regulatory, and business environments in which it operates, and has more than 30 years of practical experience in responding to litigation and regulatory matters, crisis management, and compliance challenges, advising the boards of directors and management of numerous public and private companies.

Prior to joining McDermott, Ron was the former Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Ernst & Young LLP and held general counsel and senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
