Dentons' Hong Kong office recently welcomed Stephen Chan, a partner in the firm's Corporate Practice.

Stephen Chan has over 20 years of experience and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, REIT listings, restructurings, IPOs, H-share listings and compliance.

Prior to joining Dentons, Stephen Chan practiced in Dechert's Hong Kong office for more than seven years and announced his departure at the beginning of the year when the firm decided to downsize its Hong Kong office. He has also practised at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, Latham & Watkins and Allen & Overy.

Stephen Chan is the second partner brought into Dentons' Hong Kong office this year, and his arrival means that the number of partners in the firm's sole Greater China office will increase to 11.
