White & Case has this week seen the departure of Daniel Abercromby, a debt finance partner in its Hong Kong office, and Shaohui Jiang, a partner in its Beijing M&A practice. Daniel Abercromby joined Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Hong Kong office earlier this week as a global finance practice group partner. Mr Jiang, meanwhile, joined Hogan Lovells' Hong Kong office as foreign counsel.
Daniel Abercromby focuses on advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as well as credit and other special opportunity funds, on their financings in the Asia Pacific region. He was previously a partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and joined Vickers in 2020 as a partner in the Hong Kong office.
Shaohui Jiang focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, project development and financing, and has extensive experience in cross-border transactions in infrastructure and energy. He joined Weikeng as a partner in 2019. Previously, Mr Jiang was a senior associate at K&L Gates.
