O'Melveny recently welcomed partners Stephanie Keen and Sylvia Taslim to the firm. Previously, the lawyers were partners in Hogan Lovells' Corporate and Finance practice group, and Stephanie Keen was head of the firm's Corporate and Finance team for the Asia-Pacific region and managing partner of the firm's Singapore office.
Stephanie has nearly 30 years of experience in M&A and private equity, including leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings and corporate restructurings. Prior to joining O'Melveny, Stephanie practised at Hogan Lovells for more than 10 years and had worked at Fried Frank and Ashurst.
Sylvia Taslim specialises in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, public takeovers, private equity transactions and venture capital, with expertise in energy sector M&A transactions and regulatory legal issues in the pharmaceutical, education, fintech and manufacturing sectors. She joined Hogan Lovells in 2021 and became the partner at the firm earlier this year. In addition, Sylvia Taslim has previously practised at Allen & Gledhill, Clifford Chance LLP and King & Spalding.
Going forward, they will be based in O'Melveny' s Singapore office as the resident partners in the M&A practice group.
